The hospital is in an extraordinary place; situated close to the largest IDP, Returnee and Refugee
camp in Bosaso whom the majority have no access to health care and are mostly dependent on the
good will of local charities and the local population to meet their daily needs, the establishment of
publicly run Hospital nearby can meet their Short Term and Long Term Health and Sanitation needs
and to counter any cholera and disease outbreak among the mentioned displaced people and the rest
of the city residents in general.
The Ayaan Specialist Hospital sits an area of 66 x 20 sq consist 2 floor main building of multiple
purpose rooms 2 other supporting block buildings for operation theater and impatient rooms which
can almost cater to 300 to 400 hundreds of patients, with an opportunity for expansion given the free
Land Space it owns.
